audio italianol'ex-prostituta milady de winter, gia' moglie di athos, rapisce con l'aiuto del duca di rochefort, braccio destro del cardinal richelieu, la giovane costanza bonacieux, cameriera della regina anna d'austria e amica di d'artagnan, incaricata dalla sovrana, infedele consorte di luigi xiii, di recapitare al duca di buckingham una richiesta di soccorsi per gli ugonotti assediati a la rochelle. i quattro moschettieri, liberano la ragazza e la conducono al sicuro in un convento. ottenuta da richelieu l'autorizzazione ad agire come crede, milady va allora in inghilterra per uccidere buckingham. raggiunge lo scopo, cosi' come, tornata in francia e scovato il rifugio di costanza, riesce, mentre rochefort impegna a duello i moschettieri, a uccidere la giovane. eliminato rochefort, d'artagnan cattura milady e la consegna al boia, evitando, grazie a un'imrpudenza di richelieu, la vendetta del cardinale.
